Exploitation of Personnel

CVS exploits its personnel. Every store is understaffed and expected to achieve results far beyond what they are capable of doing.
CVS has a solution to its lack of personnel-abuse the store management. The manager is required to work 45 hours a week... Yeah that would be a slow week for many of their store managers. Most in low volume stores are required to work at least 60 with the pay of 45.
Also, that pay is widely varied. Some store managers make less than assistant managers. This is not only acceptable to the District Sales Manager, but also the Regional Vice President. A store manager complained about his pay following the "open door policy" and was then written up within two weeks for job performance.
That store manager left the company to make sure he would have the chance to write down that he was not terminated from the company. He was one of four in three months that left that district (two were fired under bogus charges and two quit).
That means nothing to this company thou. They promise the ability to move up fast... They just do not tell you what position you will be in... Faced with the chance to quit before they fire you or to wait and hope that they will leave you alone.
