On February 27th I was awarded a $5000 judgment against Joe Nastasi dba The Tub Factory in 3rd District Court Huntington for defective workmanship and material and defaulting on a product warranty for a whirlpool tub. The tub which was warranted for 10 years, sprung a 30" crack after 3 years and dumped 90 gallons of water through the ceiling. Nastasi ignored the judgment against him. It is now in collection with the S. C Sheriff's Department. A bank account and property lien has been lodged against him.

In addition, Joe Nastasi's contractor license was revoked on June 25, and he received a fine by action of the Suffolk County Office of Consumer Affairs.

If he is trying to sell you a Tiffany Marble product -RUN -Do not walk away from him!!! The material is inferior, scratches and cracks easily and he does not stand behind his product when it fails. He also has an unsatisfactory Better Business Bureau rating and numerous judgments against him for shoddy workmanship and failure to honor his stated warranty. The county has been trying to close this guy down for these types of fraudulent practices for years.

He once had 3 showrooms but things are catching up with him thanks to consumer websites like this.

If he states that he will install anything in your home, please notify Mr. Michael Kmeth, SC Bureau of Licensing

(631) 853-4611 to report it. Nastasi will be in violation of the law and will be arrested on criminal charges.
