Sued for Inflated Balance After Paying $1500 Settlement Deposit

I also got sued for way more money than what was owed. Haven't used this card for 9yrs... But if I got any letters they didn't come to me Didn't receive nothing till i got my summon. It didn't even have the right address I call them and set up to pay half sent them 1500 and was going to pay 50 a month had to take a loan for that... Well I call back a few weeks later waited for a call or saying they got the money and when I needed to start paying nothing so I call them and they said sorry you only had so many days to take care of this and now we are putting a lien on your house. I said that wasn't right they didn't even have the right address and I was working on paying them my and my husband had 120. Oo to our name they took it all out of his account. This isnt right do i have a case to get them they now want 3,678 before I pd the 1500 it was 3500.. That 3600 is what I owe after paying 1500...
