PODS exercises unfair consumer billing practices. We rented a POD (long term) and for less than 12 months.

PODS escalated the monthly fee from $135.00 monthly for the first 4 months, to $145.95 for month 5, and then to $156.45 for months 6 and beyond.

We called PODS to remove the unit on 10/20 and the unit was picked up at the end of the day on 10/21. Our billing cycle is the 14th of each month and according to PODS customer service (1-800-927-9664) there is 'No proration' of the monthly fee.

Customer service directed us to call (PODS Accounting) at 1-866-927-9664 and we were told 'this is company policy' and said, 'call customer service at 1-888-776-7637' which is the same call center as 1-800-776-7637. So I called this number and they said, 'you must speak with the accounting at 1-866-927-9664.

We dispute PODS unfair billing practice of charging a FULL MONTH of usage for 7 days of use. Did PODS re-rent the same POD?
