Unauthorized, Fraudulent Billing

While checking my credit card statements this month I came across two charges by this company, a few weeks apart. One for 6.95 and another for 24.95. On the statement it stated that the companies business was "MOTION PICTURE & VIDEO TAPE PRODUCTION & DISTRIBUTION". I know I didnt purchase anything related to that recently time to investigate.

I called the company up and polietly stated that I had to charges on my credit card from them and was unsure not only of who this company was but why they were charging me. They very nicely stated that it was for "fraud protection". Well that can't be, my credit card already provides me that, free of charge. Why would I every sign up for extra protection?

I stated this, he turned me over to his supervisor who stated something about the second charge being for magazines or something and he could refund that but not the 6.95. I said thank you, but in that case I will be reporting this company to my card as fradulent activity. Very quickly he suddenly changed his tune and said that they could actually refund both.

Havent seen anything yet, but sounds fishy. Policies suddenly changing and what the charges are for "magically" changing. I'm not buying that.
