Grant Research Guide will not let me cancel a "free" service

I was foolish enough to send for this offer of a "free" CD for a S/H charge of $2.95. Unfortunately, I did not check them out on the complaint first!
I have been trying to cancel this program; I have been given a total of 6 different numbers to contact them, but have not reached a single person. One number (866-528-6550) is a continual loop of music and a voice that says "Your call is important to us please stay on the line." After 45 min. I gave up. I also called the NV Information to see if I could get a legit number and the NV operator said "No company by that name exist!

How can I cancel if they don't exist? I give up; I'm going to cut the wires to my computer. If I want to get robbed; I'll just go stand in an ally somewhere at least I'll know what to expect.
