Scam! Tries to bill your phone for services you did not orde

This company is nothing but a scam artist. I have a business. They sent my phone receptionist a letter thanking her for signing up with them and saying that the business phone would be charged $49.95 a month on my Verizon bill. We have never heard of this company before, nor spoke with them in any way, nor do we need or want their "services".

First of all, my receptionist answers the phone and takes messages. She does not order phone services or anything else. They claim she authorized this, which 1) she would NEVER do. 2) she was not even working on the date they claim they poke to her, she was at the DMV getting her license. 3) the letter they sent had BOTH her first and last names drastically misspelled. 4) even if they had spoken to her (which she adamantly claims they did not) she is not the owner of the phone line. I am. My name is the account holder and owner of that phone line, and therefore I am the ONLY one authorized to add services and charges to that line. This company, if it was legitimate, would know that. They would have asked to speak to the owner. Not a 19 year old receptionist.

So to sum, they sent a letter welcoming my phone receptionist to their fax service (whatever the heck this is supposed to be) misspelling both her first and last names (so they obviously did not get that info from her). They claimed they talked to her on a date she was not even at work. They did not bother to even ask for the legal owner of the business, nor of the legal account holder of the phone line. They just thought they would start billing my phone for bogus services.

Luckily I did call my phone co. And have a block put on there so they could not charge anything. My husband called the company and told them NOTHING was ever authorized from us and they had better not try to charge us for anything. I also filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs in Clearwater, Florida.
