These people are why movers have a bad rep

Much like the other report that is filed, we too were duped by the saleman that came out to give us a price for our move. He assured me that all the upholstered furniture would be shrink wrapped and everything would be handled with care. When our move actually occured, the trouble began. The did not wrap a single thing, they took smoke breaks about every 15 minutes and complained constantly. The claimed they could not get an arm chair out of a room, I told them it got in somehow, they rudely replied that they had been in the business for 10 years, and it would not come out. The scratched it badly during the attempt. My husband and I got the chair out of the room in about 5 minutes later that day. When we arrived at our new home they roughly moved the furniture in, complaining all the way. They carried it all in uncovered, drawers hanging out. At one point a draw fell out of a peice and my husband said something about them dropping it, they told him that they did not drop it, it fell. They also took it upon themselves to open windows thoughout the house, by doing this they damaged a window sash very badly, not to mention they left them open and the house was full of bugs. They brought in one of our custom sofas and I noticed a black mark all the way across the back. I asked them about it and he assured me that all their blankets were clean and they did not do it. I then called the saleman to complain and he told me that they told him that some other person was in our house around the couches. An outright lie! When it was time for them to leave, we tried to negotiate as a result of the damages that occurred, they became very angry. We gave up on that and decided to take it up with the company later (big mistake). Then we simply asked to check over the bill. The crew chief did not like that at all, he said they were in a rush and were losing money by the minute. We demanded to see it and they over charged us by hundreds. They corrected after about 30 more minutes of simple math. The salesperson should be there in the end to deal with the bill.
We filed an insurance claim soon after and have still not heard from them, months later. We did not buy extra insurance, but as I told the salesperson, the issues are a result of carelessness and us not getting what we were promised, not as a result of an accident.
DO NOT USE THE COMPANY. They are terrible, the most rude and nasty people I have EVER been around.
