I ordered furniture from this company when I first moved into my house in 2006 (totaling over $2000 for 6 pieces: a headboard for my bed, a rocking chair, a tv/vcr stand, a filing cabinet, an end table, and a desk). They were very charming when I called and placed the order, as I customized the height of the end table. I placed the order in July of knowing it could take up to 16 weeks for everything to be made and delivered. About the end of 3 months I inquired about my order. The filing cabinet showed up in October.

I called/e-mailed again in November and was told production was underway. I received he custom end table in January and was told the rest was on it's way. A couple of weeks later, when nothing arrived, I started calling and e-mailing. I got the same answers, "Production is underway, we'll let you know of the shipping dates." I had others call on my behalf as well... Nothing. All communication stopped so I called American Express and had them investigate.

Since eRustic HAD shipped part of the order and American Express didn't feel like investigating further, the order was closed. The other items, totaling $1754 were never received, nor was my money refunded. Unfortunately, this is a late report as I did not know this website existed at the time, even though I researched eRustic before and after the event to see if anyone else had been scammed. I also contacted the BBB and filed a report. I happened to get an e-mail about a different website that had defrauded customers and was under a class action suit, and decided to see if something similar may have happened to eRustic. This Ripoff site popped up. As my husband and I were both working 2 jobs, losing that money was a difficult thing to swallow, and still is! If anyone out there needs rustic furniture, DO NOT order from eRustic.
