Bobby And Kathy The company accepted a move of funiture from Arkansas to Georgia but failed to deliver

On 5/05 this company accepted to move funiture from Arkansas to Atlanta and sent a bid and contract for $864.64 delivery to be made before Memorial Day in May. We paid through bank transfer and my wife continued to call the company and get various excuses as to why the move had not been made. At one point in June they claimed they had confused us with another move and our would be ASAP.

We began to do more research on the company and the two owners. (Bobby and Kathy Leitgeb). They had numerous cases against them in Pinnellas County Courts (public records) and the consumer complaints indicate they rip people off, close the company and start another with the same MO. Also they accept your goods and then refuse to deliver untill you pay a larger amount due to some additional cost they have incurred.

Finally in August following numerous calls to them they say their truck will arrive in Arkansas to pick up the funiture. The next day the supposed driver calls to say they are out of money and in Texas. When he finally arrives in Arkansas two days later the truck is unmarked and in very bad repair and the drivers rufused to show identification. Since the goods to be picked up are antique funiture we decided to try and get a refund.

Bobby Leitgeb personally told me and he also told a Detective of the Pinnellas Sheirffs Dept (consumer Fraud) that he would refund our money due to our problems and delay but has not. Minimum Moves is out of business but they still answer the 800 # as "moving company". I am convinced that if we had allowed them to accept the funiture we would have never seen it again and they would be holding for additional payment. Beware of this company and the two individuals involved. My next action will be in the courts.
