MagicYellow.com
Deceptive Advertising, unfulfilled promises, non-responsive customer service

Shops, Products, Services

I received a phone call from MagicYellow.com regarding advertising my bail bond business in their internet directory. The sales rep said that I would receive a "preferred" listing in the directory, and that they would be working on "search engine optimization" in order to get on the first page of Google.

They required and advance payment of $300 for the year for the listing that would include a webpage. I paid the full amount and awaited confirmation of the listing.

I received an email from the graphics department to proof the webpage and listing description. The email stipulated that "Any changes requested will have to be reviewed first and approved by the Graphic Department for its necessity before it will be implemented. Any cosmetic changes will not be accepted."

The text for my "preferred listing" is grammatically incorrect double-talk as if written by a person for whom English is a distant second language. The webpage also contains errors.

I have called the company and been placed on terminal hold. I have emailed the Graphics Department and not received a response. I have also written to the company and requested termination of the listing and a refund and and yet to receive a response.

I highly recommend that you give careful consideration before getting involved with this company. Their promises are empty and customer service is non-existent.
