Quartz Hill Water - HENDERSON CAPITAL PARTNERS, LLC District Turned off water for being 20 days late

This Local water company uses TG (territorial gangster) tactics as part of their commerce agenda. After receiving a late notice I called to speak with a representative indicating that my payment would be mailed on 9-9-08, she acknowledged as no problem then on 9-12-08 I received a door tag indicating my water would be discontinued in the event payment was not received by 9:00 AM on 9-15-08. The original amount of $31.31 was due on 8-26-08. Not even 20 day's late and they came and shut the water off! Apparently this water company uses bully tactics to enforce their POLICY however, what they are not aware of is ~ LAW does not follow POLICY contraire, POLICY follows the LAW.

What steams me is that I was demonstrative of due diligent in calling affirming payment was on the way, antithetic however a bouquet of platitudes were served as an excuse to shutting off the water, in accordance to their door tag notice - the payment was only six hours late and I had to pay the $30.00 reconnect fee.

Needless to say the Quartz Hill Water District Community Facilities District No. 1 (Portal Heights) insisted that this was their policy, however ~ they still could not provide me with sufficient proof whereas I consented.

Mortgages, Phone, Electric, Natural Gas, Cable, have all allowed a 90 day late without removal of service, so, what makes the water company any different? Unless of course they are under the directive of a Tony Soprano
