The graphics department here is ridiculous. They are extremely old fashioned and outdated when it comes to software and hardware. The art director, which should be appropriately be titled "quality control", is a dictator who speaks no English and has minimal experience as a superior. On top of that he is not a graphic designer but a proof reader. He doesn't allow talking and takes logical questions as an offense and rebelliousness.

Compensation sounds great when they start you $10.00 USD per hour but is horrible when after 1 year of employment some employees where only making $10.30 USD per hour. Along with the sorry pay you also get holidays off. This means you have to work twice as hard the day before and after the holiday because the weekly paper has to get printed. It is a weekly paper the prints daily due to the 14 areas it covers. So now that you worked twice as hard, the holiday you earned off isn't paid to you. Company policy!!! You don't get paid for the day you get off to relax and probably spend a little money in celebration but at the end of the pay period you are short a full work day that you worked twice as hard to get off.

Along with the horrible pay structure you get benefits. Vision and Dental only. No health insurance. If you get a day off you have to take a doctors note! It does not matter if you went home had some medicine over the counter and then felt better after a nights rest. You have to take a note for a doctor you would have had to pay for out of pocket. So saving some money and getting results isn't acceptable.

If you are not liked, have an opinion, and/or feel an urge to rebuttal or defend yourself in any way shape or form, you will be found guilty of unsatisfactory work performance and will be "terminated." And according to the contract you do not need any kind of notice. You will abruptly be called to an office where you are told to sign and wait in the lobby. Most of your belonging are brought to you for you to leave the premises.

When i went to collect my final check along with my sister. I was not allowed to use the facilities but my sister was! That being said look out for the tyrants and lack of professionalism.
