SAT / ACT Prep Center
Deceptively lead parents to believe their child signed up for ACT/SAT Prep information at school. Failed to honor return policy and refund billed credit card

In June of this year I received a call from a gentleman representing the SAT/ACT Prep center. He led me to believe that my son had requested information on test preparation at school. He offered the study material on a trail basis for 30 days. Since my son was not home at the time, I went ahead and purchased the material. Upon further discussion with my son, I determined he had not requested such information. I then decided to return the material, unopened when it arrived. I called the number provided with the software and followed the instructions for return of the unopened material. I mailed the material to the address directed when I was given my return authorization number. A USPS confirmation receipt shows the package being delivered to the Coppell, TX address provided but my credit card has still not been credited the $119.00 spent on the software. The package was delivered on July 25th and today is Sep 8th and I have heard nothing from the Prep Center. Attempts to contact the SAT/ACT Prep Center have met with disconnected telephone numbers. With frustration, I guess my next step is to contact the VA Attorney Generals Office and file a complaint. I also continue to research similar reports and ACT/SAT prep sites in hope of finding a real ACT/SAT Prep Center representative to talk to.
