Readres Across America paid for subscription but never received magazines

2 young guys, supposedly college students, knocked at my door and told me a whole story about how they were collecting points for subscribing magazines... They said they would win a trip to Mexico if they got the most points and said they were way ahead of their classmates. One of them was a quiet type, the other one thought he was a stand-up comedian... Making silly jokes the whole time

I wasnt actually planning to subscribe but thought I d do a favor and went ahead and subscribed for 1 magazine. The receipt looked professional although my gutfeeling was that something was not right in their story. Anyhow... I wrote out a cheque for $36 and now nearly 7 months later i still havent received any magazine. The name of the sales person on the receipt says Jeremy Dobson.
