Can you say Scam and Fraud? Leasing fraud EXACTLY like Northern leasing

ABC Leasing/Ben Abraham has been scamming the small business owners all over the country for years it appears. I have read all the reports about Northern Leasing, A-1 Leasing, Lease Finance Group, etc. And ABC Leasing out of NJ is doing the very same things with credit card machines, "check conversion" machines, etc.

I know there are lots of other victims because I checked with the clerk of court who states ABC Leasing files hundreds of these lawsuits a year against Mom and Pop businesses!!! Someone please help us stop these crooks!

In doing my research, I have found that ABC Leasing, Northern Leasing, A-1 Leasing, Lease Finance Group, etc. Are all listed together as "rental partners" on the www.commerciant.com website. I contacted these people to let them know they were advertising for leasing companies that have fraudulent business practices and they practically laughed in my face. I think all these businesses are related and I would love to prove it.

A vendor came by our business and had us sign a lease (non-cancelable of course!) for a machine to do check conversions to help customers get financing. The vendor was told by ABC to leave a "loaner" machine and they would send the new machines to our business. Needless to say, not only did we not receive a new machine, but the "loaner" had scratched off serial numbers and NEVER worked.

And of course when we called ABC, they blamed it on the vendor who had us sign the lease and stated they were not responsible for what the vendor does. When we attempted to reach the vendor, we found that ABC had no phone number for the vendor and therefore we had no way to contact them.

After multiple attempts to get working machine from ABC and over $1500 later, we closed our account at the advice of our bank. And that is when the phone calls and threatening letters to ruin our credit and our business started.By the way, ABC asks for your bank acct up front when you sign the lease so that they "can deposit funds into your account." Actually, they mean so they can WITHDRAW their funds from your acct.

Our lease agreement was not even completely filled out—no serial numbers, model numbers, etc. All that info was filled in by ABC at a later date. It appears that they try to double contracts with slightly differing amounts so that your bank doesn't catch 2 transactions on the same date. It also appears that they may have forged some documents like some of the other leasing companies mentioned above.

Why can't these people be stopped for good? Can a TV Station, Oprah, Dateline, somebody help us???
