Stole our belongings and blackmailed us

After conducting several days of research and speaking with representatives at Fidelity Van Lines Inc., I decided to use Fidelity's services for a move from Queen Creek, Arizona to Camarillo, California. My contact person was Mandy at Fidelity Van Lines Inc., 1-888-921-6683, and my Job number was #N392105.

It was agreed upon that my items would be moved, packed and shipped for one all inclusive price which included all wrapping of furniture and supplies. When the movers came to my home on August 1st to pick up my items, I was charged $67.50 extra for supplies to wrap my furniture. I was told that my quote including all supplies and wrapping of my furniture.

It was also discussed and agreed upon that I would contact Fidelity after August 8th, but before my 30 days of free delivery expired to inform them of the date to deliver and drop-off my furniture and items. Fidelity tried twice to deliver my items to my new address in Camarillo without my authorization and without contacting me prior. On August 8th, I received a phone call from Ben informing me that he was in Camarillo with my furniture. I was told I would get a call 24 hours in advance of any drop-off and I did not receive this courtesy call. I informed Ben that it was discussed that I had 30 free days of storage and would call Fidelity when I am ready to have my items delivered. When I called today to set up a time for items to be delivered, I was informed I would be charged a $950 redelivery fee. This is unfair because I did not get a 24 hour in advance courtesy call and it was agreed upon that I would call and inform Fidelity when to deliver my items.

I have tried to resolve this issue with Fidelity, but they informed me that they are not willing to assist me. When I talked to Mandy, she said I have been doing this for 8 years and there is noting you can do. Mandy keeps referring to her notes, but if someone is trying to defraud you their notes would not be accurate. The dispatch person named Don laughed at me on the phone and they refused to let me speak to a supervisor. I was also informed that they would not deliver my items unless I paid $1,000 EXTRA!

Once I paid the money, they delivered SOME of my items on August 13th, HOWEVER my Panasonic Plasma Television was missing. It was listed on the invoice and unaccounted for. The delivery foreman named Eddie said it was at the warehouse and would be delivered today. Of course, they never called back, never came, and refused to take my calls. There were also several damaged items and missing parts to my furniture to which I will file claims as described in your policies.

I have been trying to file a lawsuit, but cannot contact the company and the police are not very helpful. We just want to be compensated for the items they stole. If anyone has any information, please contact us. Many thanks.
