They devasted my developmental disable clients livies and ripped apart twenty old relationships!

I am a care provider in the state of California. I was denied the right to appeal a negative decision again my development disable facility of twenty years. I went to the appeal with all of my witnesses and information to dispute the allegations and was told that the Regional Center lawyer would be at the meeting. I had ask prior to the meeting if my Lawyer needed to be at the meeting to represent me and I was told no!

One at the regional center I was told that my witnesses had to be interviewed one at a time without me or the other witnesses in the room. When ask if the meeting could be re-schedule so that my Lawyer could be present I was told very rudely NO! I felt very intimated by their Lawyer being at the meet, since this was to be an inform meeting and discussion about the allegations against my facility of twenty years.

My operation is small, and the nature of the care I've provided is over a long term, the relationships that I've developed over the years with my patient / residents, they are like, my family and more so than my employees, who may come and go. But, the bonds and attachments I have formed with my patients / residents were over 20 years were just abruptly ripped apart over night without warning or sufficient reason by the Regional Center. The aftermath has been totally devastating to say the least.

Financially, this has meant me declining dangerously close to the point of foreclosure with all my properties, after already losing my personal home, bringing me to the verge of total business and financial collapse, not to mention the negative impact this has exacted against my employees and the developmentally disabled residential patients I have cared for, for over twenty years, in addition to the chaos this has created for their families.

Today in America, I have been found guilt, without due process, which is my right as an American citizen. How Rudy!
