RF Micro Devices - Annie Weston Work at home opportunity

Today I received an unsolicited piece of mail with a check for $2,950.00 from RF Micro Devices in Brooksville, FL. The letter attached was from Pathway Employment Services in Los Angeles, although the phone number traces back to a cell phone out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Anyway, this check was to cover the expense of a secret shopping opportunity. I had looked into this kind of work to make some extra money and found a legit opportunity, and I'm wondering if they sold my info and that's how these people got my address. Well, the opportunity was to buy a $50.00 electronic device from Wal-Mart and then rate the product. I get to keep this product. THen, I'm supposed to go to MoneyGram and "see if they are following legal practices for money transfers over $2,000 in accordance with the Patriot Act". I'm supposed to wire $2,320.00 to Theresa Grant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada who is my "personal receiving agent". I get to keep the remaining $400.00 to cover the expense of my Wal-Mart trip as well as payment for my MoneyGram job. After this, I will make $500.00 per week for 6 months then $650.00 a week after that.
Obviously this is a bad effort at a scam, because no secret shopper/mystery shopper company pays you by the week, it's by the job. If you search MSN articles, there is a mystery shopping company that is legit and you get paid anywhere from $15-$100 per job. Don't get scammed into this, I'm sure the check is fake and I'd end up liable for the remaining balance when I transfer it out of my bank account.
