Paid off my jeep in august and chrysler never sent me my title and it's now 2008

I file them in my bankruptcy case in 2003 and it was paid in full in 2006. They were the first ones to get paid, so actually they were paid off earlier than june. Hadn't dawn on me that i hadn't received my title because there were a lot of family things going on in my life including the death of my mother. I didn't need my title to get my license plates or stickers, just my registration and paper from the bmv, so i didn't think about it nor realize that i didn't have it.

Then last week when i tried to get a loan and used my jeep as collateral i found out that chrsyler had put a lien on my jeep saying that i still owed them money. When i tried to call them about this matter i was given the run-around, sent from one department to another or given several different phone number to call only to be told that i was calling the wrong number.

Finally after trying to contact them for 4 and a half hours and 3 days later, i finally got to talk to some one who told me that they could get me my title in 15 to 20 days. Needless to say the delay cost me my loan among other things. Not only didn't they send me my title but are also violating a federal law by trying to get ottain money from me after my bankruptcy case has been completed and closed. If they did me like this and are willing to risk violating a federal law, what's to stop them from doing it to someone else. "nothing"
