Consumer rip-off fraud

Several weeks ago I was out looking for a new car. I was shown a copy of my credit report and checked it against the one I have at home indication I had a $12,500 in credit from this company.

I have tried to call them numerous times. First, I had never received a credit card. They indicated that one was mailed on 9/9/02. So, they are sending me another. I have the other card and a letter from the company. The first line welcomes me and they look forward to a long and enjoyable relationship with the company. I got on the internet hoping to find a catalog and found nothing. I stumbled on to your website and that is when I found out about the rip off. How do I go about getting that off my credit report? Should I even do it? Right now it shows I have a $12,500 line of credit.
