Deceptive and fraudulent business practices. 88 BBB complaints filed against them

All American Moving failed to honor their estimate, failed to lawfully provide copies of signed documents. They are guilty of fraudulent and deceptive business practices.

They arrive for pick (June) with an incorrect work order/invoice amount. They informed me that the move would still be within the original estimate unless the weight was higher. They refused to provide me a copy of this document but, stated that I had to execute it or they would leave and not move the furniture.

They also misrepresented the route the furniture would take and their delivery schedule. The do not return messages and they are extremely rude when you attempt to talk with them about problems.

Delivery was late. After several days and numerous unreturned messages, they finally called to say they were ready to delivery but, I had to pay an addtional $750.00, though the weight was below the original estimate. I quote "If you do not pay this immediately, we will just leave the furniture in the warehouse and you can't get back on the schedule for over a week".

When All American Moving holds your furnishings hostage and they know you can't afford a protracted legal battle to get possession of your goods, they extort additonal monies from you. I just checked the BBB and there are over 88 complaints filed against this firm in past 3 years.

Final note, they still would not provide me a copy of the papers upon delivery and they broke multiple pieces of furniture, which they have failed to respond to my repeated messages.
