I purchased a phone to add to my exsisting line and it came with a rebate offer. I purchased the unit to add the new line to an exsisting line... Well, it offered $50.00 rebate either way. But i applied for the rebate. I received a letter that i did not qualify. I called and was asked lots of questions, they said someone made a mistake when entering my information.
About 4 weeks later i receive another letter stating that i do not qualify, i called again and was told their had been a mistake in the dateentry and i would receive the rebate in 4-6 weeks.
About 3 weeks lateri received another letter, and again i went through the same process. This time i spoke with a supervisor. She said thier was nothing they could do.
She gave me a number to call and i did... Well, i told them i was going to contact the BBB and the FTC, (I also mentioned that Sprint had a simmular problem and they were taken to court with the same issue, Sprint in return had to pay money that should of gone to their clients.) I also told them i was going to contact the USPS and the some other government office to report the fraud, they immediately went ahead and credited my account 50.00 for the trouble i had endured. Don't give in at all, keep calling, the company makes enough money on us.
