Sprint
After paying $200.00 for a new phone, Sprint charged $18.00 because we got a new phone. Puyallup

Shops, Products, Services

My daughter which is 21, purchased a new phone from the sprint store in Puyallup, WA for $200.00 which is one of the least expensive phones they have for existing customers. Her previous phone had been run over by a car. They were able to transfer her phone book from the old phone. She has a $125.00 spending limit on her account because she had no credit history. She has the simply everthing plan for $99 a month, the monthly bill is approx. $120.00 with taxes and fees. Sprint interrupted her service by not allowing any out going calls on her phone, with no notification. They charged her $18.00, because she bought a new phone, and added it to her bill which made her go over the $125.00 limit. No one at the Sprint store said anything about an additional $18.00 would be added to her bill for the privilege of buying a new phone. The $18.00 charge was not for transfering the phonebook to the new phone but just because she bought a new phone.
