Jos A Bank Clothiers
Fraudulent and illegal sales tactics, and deceptive business practices

Shops, Products, Services

Jos Bank is a men's clothier that has continuous sales - there is essentially a "sale" every day. The company uses terms like "final days", "limited time only" etc to dupe the customer into believing this is limited time event, which, when the next sale comes out the next day, it is not. According to FTC statutes on deceptive business practices, you cannot have a sale every day off of something termed "regular price", if in fact the sale is continuous. Therefore, the regular price cannot be deemed a regular price, as it is never sold at that prices. So the "sale price" should become the "regular price". Otherwise, the sale is a total sham sale. This is illegal according to the Code of Federal Regulations of the FTC, Part 233 of Title 16. Jos Bank does this practice EVERY DAY, duping customers into thinking they are getting some bargain.
