The Favoritos and Dr. Angela Diaz of VCA South Shore collaborated to assemble medical records claiming a refund for the full $1500 purchase price of a Yorkshire Terrier puppy alleging the puppy had a life threatening congenital defect called Portosystemic Shunt. The Favoritos refused to consult with the breeder's veterinarian but the breeder went ahead and issued the refund when they reported to her they had further proof of the diagnosis from Tufts University Animal Hospital. The Tufts Records subsequently forwarded to the breeder clearly state they could not find any evidence of the condition despite using advanced diagnostic techniques. Now the Favoritos have a free puppy they have tormented with a number of unnecessary invasive medical tests and surgeries. The breeder wants the puppy returned to her for her own protection.
