Sent a Letter that was fake New York New York

I received this letter in the mail and well nothing ever happens to me like this so i was sure it was fake in the beginning!!! And they can not spell either

The system indicated that your name was randomly selected through a computerized ballot system as a winner for the second quarter of 2008 sweepstakes draw. Congratulations!

All Participants were selected through a computerized ballot system drawn from a readers digest publishers clearing house online sweepstakes internet games...
Enclosed is a check for 3,989.32 which covers both the administrative taxes and clearance fees of your winnings. For authorization of this check please contact your agent NANCY COX immediately at tele1-514-692-9358 Your winnings must be claimed not later than July 31

There is more just dont think that it matters really al i know that it is fake and dont make a mistake and take it to the back and cash it!!!
