The system indicates that your name was randomly selected through a computerized ballot system as a winner for the SECOND QUARTER of 2008 Sweepstakes draw.

All participants were selected through a computerized ballot system drawn from Reader Digest, Publishers Clearing House, Online Sweepstakes, Internet Games etc...

Enclosed, is a check for ($3,925.75) which covers both the administrative taxes and Clearance fees of your winnings. For authorization and activation of this check, please contact your agent ANGELA THOMAS immediately at TEL: 1-514-575-4401 your winnings must be claimed not later than JANUARY 16

After speaking with ANGELA THOMAS and her stated to please call immediately once the check clears I knew that it had to be a scam.

Please be warned of these letters. She gives you an address of agents that you are to send money to via MoneyGram and the addresses given were hotel addresses. I have called the hotels for each person and of course there is no one by that name staying there.
