Did not contact mortgage companies requested, causing bills to go into near default

Company waited until i made phone contact, 2 weeks after faxing all info to them, to advise me "we are working on it". This is supposedly a loan mitigation process, which was to deal with 2 mortgages, in an effort to lower payments and reduce interest rate. Perhaps even deduct $ from the principal.

Two weeks later, i called. Advised them they could deduct their administrative fees from my account, and where did we stand. Reply: "mr. Hernandez from countrywide has not returned our call." i asked "did you call him back? You advised me not to make 2 months payments, and they are harrassing me. Could you please expedite? Also, 2nd mortgage says they have not been contacted. Did you call them?" i had to call a third time to get a live person. Asked question again, reply, after hesitation; "uh, yes."

3 weeks after that, total of 6 weeks after all paperwork in. I call again. Voice mail again. Called next day, voice mail again. Called again, finally a live person. First mortgage due to default in two days! What have you done?"let me see, i guess we'd better call them". Also, no mention of second mortgage co. Countrywide and second mortgage co continuing to call and call.

I fired this company at this time. 3 emails sent, cc original sales person and vp of client relations. Contacts or attempts to contact were made on my part.

Two weeks later, over $1200 taken out of my bank account! I agreed to admin fee, but disputed other $900. Second mortgage co., 8 weeks after filing paperwork w / this company sent letter and said they were never contacted by this company. This was a reply to my inquiry. On top of that, i had to pay all past due balances in order to keep loans from defaulting.

Very unprofessional. Very aggressive to get your business, and then a let down.

Not worth the hassle. Talk directly to your lender. Be aggressive with them!
