Took my money and ran Phoenix Arizona

I was given a quote by Julian to paint my house. He showed up to the house driving a White Chevy Astro Van with his email "julianthepainter@yahoo.com" stenciled on the back window.

He insisted that I pay for materials up front. After giving him the money for materials in the morning, he came back mid-day with some materials and began painting. He even took picture of the work site like he was going to use it for his portfolio. He left in the afternoon and said that he would be back the next day.

The next day he was a no-show. After a couple of hours of waiting, I attempted to call him and got no answer. I left two messages but the were never returned. After calling from a different phone number later in the day, a woman answered and said that he was busy at work. I have also left him two email messages but has yet to respond.

It has know been two weeks and I have come to the reality that I was scammed.

Julian Garcia (aka julianthepainter & Paint 4 Less) posts on craigslist and kijiji and may use other sites too.
