Very rude not wanting to fix problem in my home

I have been renting this duplex for not even 3 months. I have discovered a few things that is wrong with this duplex! I have contacted my landlord and asked him would he fix these issues. My kids and I have gotten bit by bed bugs. I have contacted a exterminator and he has told me that i have been getting bit by bed bugs. Never had bed bugs before i moved in here. My lite bill has accumalted to over 200 dollars. My neighbors just moved out because they said the landlord didnt want to fix their problem!!! What is wrong with this picture!!!
