Waited all day with a 5 month old, never showed up

I wish I would have seen these sooner, I found one review for these movers and it was a good one. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
My guess is that because it was a local move it was not as important as a job that was bringing in more money (or scam from what I am reading.) I wish Darline would have just said that they don't do local moves, but instead she was enthusiastic about how close it was.

Someone called to confirm on Friday at 12:34pm, and said that I was scheduled for 9am on Monday morning. When I called Monday morning at 9:30, I was told that I am in the book for between 3-5pm. I was fine with that and waited all day with my 5 month old baby. When I called at 4:20 for a status update, I was abruptly told, "The truck will be there at 5!" At 5:20, I was told there are no trucks, and the earliest i can expect one is 7pm or tomorrow. I have all of our things packed. All the baby's things are packed and her crib is dis-assembled... I have only in her bag her enough for the day. So i said fine, 7pm... Just tell me if you are not coming, are you coming I asked? Yes, we are coming. They did not come. At 7:05, they told my husband, we are looking for another moving company for you. I called them and after being patient all day I lost it... Screamed at the guy and told him I wanted my deposit back.

I am sitting in my old apartment... And we have to find other arrangements for tomorrow. This was our first time hiring a moving company, usually my husband and I move ourselves, but with the baby, we needed help. This company is a disgrace, do not ever use them.
