My husband and i was stationed in germany, when we cleared the post exchange we asked them if there were any outstanding debt we owed them twice we asked and they said no we were clear to leave.

At the time they said some of these these checks were written i was not at those places i did get a counseling statement when i was employed by aafes. But i had to take care of that check immediately, so now 4years after

We return back stateside and think we are getting back money from our taxes now they say we owe them for these checks as well as all this;
rediculous intrest they are charging it's nothing but a lie and a major ripoff.

They will not let you clear them if you owe them one penny. They have done this to many people and it is wrong we do not owe the anything and they know it. But at the same time i understand that i should never have let one bounce, but do i have to go broke for a mistake that was not intentional in the first place. Some of the checks i clearly did not write i could'nt have cause i was never in some of those places. I am not the first person the have extorted and cheated. They know you have to pay and you do not have, a choice because my husband is retired and we do file income taxes.
