I regret not having found this website BEFORE making my decision to use Nationwide Relocation. I chose their services because March Catarelli was so adamant about securing my business. She called me daily and emailed me consistently. She also assured me that they could "lock in" a good price which sounded good to me since the gas prices kept rising.

I am a single mom with a 4 year old daughter. I knew I could not possibly move a car and a truck load by myself from Michigan to Las Vegas, NV. I made a rash decision because of lack of time and chose Nationwide. I always research every decision I make and I regret not doing so.

March assured me that the movers would come to pick up my stuff on June 10 or 11th. I recieved a call on the 10th saying that the movers would arrive between 2-4 on the 11th. Great... No problem. They called around 2 or later that they had truck problems and couldn't come until 6-8.By 8:30 they called again saying that the transmission was being fixed and that was the cause of the delay but they could come the next morning by 7am.

I told them that was not satisfactory since our house was packed up and we had planned on starting our drive to vegas that night while my daughter slept. So he agreed to be there by 9:30. They packed the truck until 2am. Vinny was the driver of Best Price. Which is the company that arrived at my door...??? I didn't realize that a truck (from another company) was going to come and capture my things and then transport them to Chicago until GOD ONLY KNOWS WHEN!!!

They communicated to us that they would drive back to Chicago with my furniture and then weigh it... Then from there they would load it onto a semi with other moving customers stuff. I guess that is how they justify their cost and save on gas... Etc. This didn't bother me too much. So we started out our drive to Vegas. I recieved a call two days later from Best Price in Chicago, that they weighed my stuff and OF COURSE it came in higher... I was not suprised at all... And got a certified check immediately for the price they gave me.

I was told my stuff would arrive anywhere from June 16th until (in case of bad weather, or truck breaking down) the 24th. Today is the 23rd and they still cannot give me a date as to when they will even LEAVE Chicago!!! I have called Best Price and Nationwide... They seem to all have the same response which is NO ANSWERS... NO DATES! They are complete, incompetent fools! Why are businesses like this still open??? How can complete idiots be business owners is beyond me!?!?! I have worked in Customer Service for years and have NEVER EVER been treated this horribly!

I am renting a very expensive apartment that is sitting empty... I had the power turned on in my name... To sit empty... And I'm temporarily living with my ex!!! I could be staying in a hotel but can you imagine the bill of 3 weeks of stay??? The soonest that I may see my stuff is JULY! They picked up June 11th. I'm frustrated... Hurt... And completely annoyed.

My poor 4 year old is lost and feels homeless without her bed and things. Children have a hard enough time moving for the first time and this is causing complete havoc on my personal and professional life. I had interviews lined up for this week and have to reschedule them all because I'm living out of a suitcase with casual attire only. I never expected to pack 3 weeks or more of clothing.

As of today I am still not getting any answers or an arrival date. SomeONE is going to PAY For this... And I will do whatever it takes to correct this issue and keep others from being taken advantage of... Especially us, single moms!!!
