VIRGIN MOBILE has awful customer service.

1) 4 out of 5 have an attitude, they are rude.

2) The automatic guide when you call is annoying and unhelpful, it takes forever to get to a live person.

3) The live operators will say they are transferring you to a "specialist" who turns out to know nothing more than the previous operator. This happened 5 times to me during one call alone. I had to repeat my information and problem with the lengthy issues, over and over. One day I talked to a supervisor and they were generally unhelpful although SO apologetic.

4) Even through e-mail (my last resort) the person who answered my detailed and polite e-mail couldn't help. They said they were so sorry and if I had any more questions (uh, yeah, since they didn't even answer the initial one) I should contact a live operator at their number.

5) bottom line - pay a little more and get a company that pays their representatives enough to make them TRY to help you.
I wasted at least $100 dollars...$60 in minutes alone - which I will NOT be able to recover from them.

I hope this helps somebody avoid my mistake of choosing Virgin Mobile as a cell phone company.
