Horrible customer service unless you spend a lot of money

My first problems were with the salesman working with us because he really wasn't communicating with us... Like, letting us know when they were going to come out, returning phone calls, or waiting until the last minute to let me know they were coming out. We also never got a follow-up call (or an explaination why the salesman was unable to contact us) after the job.

When I reported this to the supposed owner, Chase South, he proceeds to tell me that the salesman was having issues with his newborn baby and that I needed to cut him some slack.

I have a soft spot in my heart for babies, but as an owner, all Mr. South had to say was something like, "I'm sorry. Todd was unable to contact you because of some personal issues... How may I assist you?" That's it! That's good business practice! That's all he had to say.

In further correspondances with him, Mr. South proceeded to tell me that he never wanted to work or speak with me again (uh, likewise, you egotistical jerk!) and that Todd's baby was more important than my fence.

Again, he runs a business and doesn't need to be telling customers about personal problems his employees may be having. An employees' personal problem has nothing to do with running a business.

Mr. South also has a severe lack of respect and is strongly lacking in the customer service department. I've never dealt with anyone so dense.

I would have been much more understanding with everything... Had Mr. South been kinder and much more respectful to me. That's the bottom line. He failed to do that and consumers need to know about this. Beware, if you ever want to do business with these rude people!
