This breeder lies, mispresents her dogs, changes her kennel name, her policies and will steal your money!

This breeder advertised the dog as being champion sired. I was interested, so I spoke to her on the phone. She then said the pup wasn't yet, but both parents were close to being finished. I accepted that. I wrote down the names she had given me as the parents of the pup. I then asked her about her health guarantee. She gave me the details, never mentioning that it was actually a purchase agreement which she REQUIRES to be signed before shipping the puppy. I received the health guarantee, now realizing it's mostly a purchase agreement, I noticed the sire named on the paperwork was not who she verbally said it was. I asked her about it, which resulted in more confusion and simply did not trust her any longer, nor did I trust that she even knew who the sire was, so I asked for a refund due to this mistake and she refused. She tells me no refunds no matter what! But this was her mistake! She never informed me that she had a no refund policy until after I asked for one! She also never informed me that I would be required to sign her purchase agreement, which was suppose to be a health guarantee. She called it a health guarantee on the phone. She sent that to me AFTER I paid her $3000! She said the total was due because the pup was almost ready to go. I did not agree with the terms on her purchase agreement and refused to sign it. She told me that's fine, I don't have to sign it if I don't want to and she was going to send the pup even though I still did not want it. She even sent me the flight information! Now she is saying she will not send the puppy without the signed contract, so I again asked for a refund. I was again informed that she does not give refunds for any reason. I also found out she used to go by a different kennel name and last name. I did not find out who she really was until she sent the paperwork and after I paid. She was going by Debra Woods, kennel name Canton's Cane Corso. Her real name is Debra Young and the kennel name used to be Young's Cane Corsos out of Nv. There's some ugly feedback on the Cane Corso Better Breeders Board about her under that name, so I can see why she changed it! She claims she took the puppy off the market as of 4/30/08. That the puppy is mine, contract or not, yet now she will not refund my money or send the puppy. She is also still advertising the puppy and has been since the above mentioned date. She claimed she took the puppy off the market when I purchased her, which is another lie. Her only solution is to forward my money to another litter of equal value. Well, that's a joke because I don't want ANY puppy from her! She also does not own anything that could produce the VALUE that she claimed this puppy was! And I STILL won't sign her purchase agreement! So, that is impossible! She still has the pup AND my money and never was out anything! The flight money and ear cropping were also included in that money she stole from me, but since she didn't do either of those two things, she got quite a nice profit off me! In my last corespondance with her, she informed me that I have a lot to learn about conducting cane corso business, since I've only had one for a couple of years and she's been in it for 12 years. I must be ignorant about Cane Corso business as I've been breeding and selling Chihuahuas for several years and have never screwed a future owner out of their hard earned money or their puppy, but apparently different standards must apply to Cane Corsos as she feels it is totally acceptable to keep the puppy and the money and rub it in my face that she's been doing this for years and it is acceptable!
