Ripoff deceptive company thieves false promises

This company professes pride and professionalism while the management lies and makes promises they know they don't plan to keep. They have terminals nationwide. My terminal is located in Newport, De.

I have worked for logex for three years. I've received a "Driver of the Quarter" award at least 5 times.in 2001 I was awarded the "Driver of the Year" commendation. This award was supposed to include a leather jacket and plaque (both of which i received approximately 7 months after they were promised). More importantly I was supposed to receive a $500 bonus check.

I was repeatedly assured (at least 12 times) by the Director of Human Resources, the North East regional manager, and the Safety Manager for the North East region that i would be getting this money. I called the Director of Human resources once again to confirm that i would be receiving a check as i had finally gotten the the jacket and plaque.

I was told that a memo had been sent out stating that the monetary award was no longer being awarded and that my manager had known about it long ago. So he lied to me to shut me up.

And they just all of the sudden can change their minds and break a promise they've made? It's not right. And this is only one of many such incidents. This company is unbelievable, not to mention extremely untrustworthy.

Below is the letter that arrived with my jacket;
"Dear jennifer:

Driver of the Year recognition is given to individuals that have distinguished themselves as safety professionals. However, you have gone beyond that by demonstrating your commitment to Logex and meeting and exceeding our customer requirements.

You are a true professional deserving of this Driver of the Year acknowledgment. We commend and thank you.

With Appreciation
Logex"

Sounds nice doesn't it? Apparently I've earned this recognition, but they can't extend me the simple courtesy of the truth. Time and time again logex has lied to me to their gain and my detriment. It is not an acceptable way to do business or treat employees. Shame on you logex.
