The worst kind of rip off

This company is the worst thing I've ever seen! They prey on the harships of people's famiy! My daughter's father has been incarcerated since Octoner 5th 2005. I have spend countless hours on hold as well as THOUSANDS of dollars with this company. Our phone company is Verizon. With this company there are no collect calls allowed any more. So Now I have to go set up an account.

I refuse to use my debit card because I have had enough bad luck with that as it is. So I call this comany and get instructions to use Western Union or Money Gram. Off I go to set my account up. I get to the store to find out that it's going to cost me $12.95 to send money.

So I call glbal tel link back to find uot the cost of each call... $7.30 for 15 minutes... HAVE THESE PEOPLE LOST THEIR DAMN MINDS??? This man is only 20 minutes from my house... How could it possibly cost that much? That was the beginning of my hell with Global Tel Link...

Now, almost 3 years later, I have had to completely change my phone number to get a new account. They have tirned my account on and off a hundred times for no good reason. I stay on hold for hours and a few times... Days. I've spent over $5,000 dollars with this company. I have filed numerous complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Only to get calls from Miss Berry (who has HORRIBLE customer service skills) and 2 letters from the BBB telling me that someone from GTL has emailed them stating it was taken care of. With a situation on record for a completely different date. Not the one I sent the report to the BBB for.

Hey Verizon, WAKE UP... This company is BAD!
