I have first hand knowledge of what goes on there.
Don't be intimidated by any threat they may throw at you! They do not refer to attorneys and cannot commence any action against you.
There is no legal department.
Contact the original creditor and work with them.
Creditors Interchange (and most other agencies) can NOT sue you. Therefore, they cannot garnishee your wages or freeze your bank account. They cannot put a lien on your house. They cannot send a law officer to arrest you.
The only thing they can do (illegally) is harrass you. Do what others have posted. Record the calls, track dates, times, names. Report it to your Attorney General and/or the FTC.
Go to BudHibbs.com and find an attorney in your area to SUE them and collect from them!
These people make MEGA bucks by threatening you. The more they intimidate you into turning your money over, the more bonuses they get.
A week or two ago there was a bonus ceremony. At least $100,000 had to be given to a handful in bonuses alone. Some individuals walked away with $10,000 in bonuses for the month.
