Rip-off I believe it's referred to in law enforcement circles as "mail fraud"

Looks like I should get in line!

I just received an offer of a "Platinum Card" from this company, too. Having nearly been ripped off some years ago by a sweepstakes scam, I looked it over carefully. What made the red flag go up for me, believe it or not, was the lack of fine print. Never have I received any credit card offer without there being at least one page of 8-point print outlining fees, dues, etc.

So I searched the Net and found this site, and the rest is history. I'm just very thankful that you guys are around—I'm a student, and $45.00 would put a dent into what I laughingly call my "finances."

Thank you for first, being here, and second, letting me sound off about scumbags who try to steal from people!
