Mystery Shoppers sent fake check $4300

This is a scam, do not fall for it. I just received a a letter and check for $4300 from this company claiming that based on an affiliate Consumer survey that I would be interested in an additional part-time income. Yes I applied for and work as a mystery shopper, legitimate jobs. I guess they got my name from inquiries.
Of course I was smart enough to look into this first as I do with everything these days. Becareful with what personal information you put out there for any jobs you may inquire about.
