Ripoff Stored Furniture for over 2 years all gone thru and lost in shipping furniture damaged and scratched boxes gone thiefs

Had all of our furniture and patio furniture plus a full wood shop of tool and equipment stored with them for over two years, which we paid for insurance from the time it was picked up until it was delivered to our house. Numerous items were broken, china cabnet, curio cabined, glass shelves and glass doors, antique end table missin, antique lamp missin but the shade was left but had a big hole in it, two antique quilting frames missing, patio furniture missing, 9 foot market umbrella missing, nice glider for the patio missing.

I filed for action in small claims court here in Mo. And won by default, they didn't show, but the courts in Calif wont honor the court action from here. I could go on listing items for quite some time. United Van LInes of Fenton Mo replied that we could not show proof of ownership!!! After 50 years of collecting items from state side and from Overseas, who keeps the receipts that long???

The items that wew scratched and gouged after the appraiser was here marked the report as repaired, well the scratches and broken furniture are still here and are not repaired, they did send me a check of a little over $100.00 for the glass shelves and the doors that I had repaired and that is all, more or less GO FLY A KITE!!!

I am retired and living on a small fixed income and can't afford to hire an attorney in Calif to sue them for this and we are still rembering items that are missing.
