US Gold Line Via phone, they led me to believe that the $250 was for merchandise on their website. After they withdrew $250, I placed an order online for part of the 250, & they withdrew $317 more from me without my consent

During the 1st phone call, they explained about my 5 $50 vouchers being used in 5 payments to "help my credit score." I deliberately asked if there were merchandise for the $250, because I wouldn't have paid money to improve my score. They answered yes and referred to the great prices on their website. I didn't hear anything from them, but saw the $250 withdrawal from my checking account and finally got 5 vouchers in the mail.

I went online to spend some of it, trying to ensure that there was money remaining for the mailing charges. I never received any merchandise, any statements, or further communication from them. When trying to get cash from an ATM, a message came back saying that the withdrawal could cause an overdraft. I looked up my checking account online only to find out that US Gold Line had withdrawn a second sum of $312.17! Merchandise: $165.38 and S&H: no less than $146.79!
I called US Gold Line, and they said the $250 was just to improve my credit score, and they had to withdraw all the $312 because they hadn't run a credit check on me. I cancelled the account and the order, and don't know when the refund will appear. I was told that the $250 was separate from their merchandise online, and not only did they refuse to refund the $250, but they also hung-up on me. I never signed anything; everything was done on the phone.
