Classified advertising used for scams Evansville

I have placed several items on the tristatehomepages.com site for sale. The returns I am getting are from all Yahoo mailboxes and each one wants me to forward money to a shipping company to have the item picked up. Each one has sent me several thousand dollars above the price of the item. They are using US banks and international money orders. Most of the checks have come by UPS. However, the last one came USPS. I requested certified funds or cashier's check. The checks are from several different company names and have the words "certified check" typed in the memo line. I have refused to cash any of these checks and have copies of all of the emails.
