Counterfeit checks

Internet & Web

This person contacts you through e-mail, wanting you to become employeed by him to help with transferring funds. If you agree and give him your information, a check WILL be sent to you.

The check is a cashiers check so the banks will not ask many questions when cashing it. Once the check is cashed you are instructed to send the money minus your 10-12 percent for your trouble, to a name and address of which this person will inform you. And they want you to send it through money gram or western union immediately upon cashing the check.

The banks will cash these checks since they are cashier checks, but these checks ARE COUNTERFIET. Once you cash the check and wire them there so called part, the bank then finds out the checks are no good and YOU are responsible for the amount of the check and you are out the amount it cost you to send these people there cut so to speak. DO not be taken in by this guy... IF you do receive a chech, have your bank to check it out before attempting to cash it.
