ADT Security - Joseph Morte
ADT lied to secure service contract

Joseph Morte with ADT Security convinced us to sign up for service by telling us service was month-to-month and could be canceled at anytime for any reason. "Nothing to lose" Joe said.in a classic bait-and-switch Mr. Morte put us on a 2 year service plane with a $500 early termination fee. We have spoken to countless ADT customer service reps and managers. While they believe we were had, and called Mr. Morte on our behalf, they are unwilling to alter our contract because according to them "It's not company policy". One corporate customer service rep went as far as to say ADT was in the business of making money and therefore would not alter our contract. Customer service will claim ADT does not offer a month-to-month contract when in reality ADT does honor them if a sales rep makes a note on the contract, as our sales rep promised and failed to do. Google "ADT lied" or "ADT complaints", we are not alone in being scammed by ADT. Their company business practices are unethical and they should be held accountable.
