Liars, dishonest, cheater, poor customer service, will break and scratch furniture

UNFORTUNATELY I hired paramount movers for a long distance move and I had SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM that I dont even no where to begin.

Firstly, there fax number is almost always having problems.

Second, the pickup guy arrived late and DIDNT apologize.

Thirdly, the pickup guy (tall, bald, Russian accent) asked me for extra money
($300) to "manipulate the weighing scale." My move was from VA to TX and a lot of my expensive furniture was involved so I did not want to piss off any of these drivers. I did pay the $ but I told Paramount movers the day after my stuff was delivered.

Fourthly, delivery day the "truck" conveniently broke down and the delivery guy kept calling and changing his Estimated arrival time. Then he called and DEMANDED that someone meet him at a certain intersection as he DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO READ A MAP and he would not listen to directions over the phone. He very rudely said that if no one comes to the intersection he will not deliver that nite and charge extra for the next day delivery.

Fifth, a lot of the things were dinged and broken, I informed ALL THE ABOVE complaint to JORDAN HAYES. She laughed and giggled when I told her about the pickup guy who took money for me to cheat the weighing scale. It sounded like she had heard about it earlier. Jordan sent me the claim forms for damages and said that she will forward me the official weigh bill and inventory which was required for filing the claim. Months pass by and no contact from Jordan until I ask her again to mail the forms. She finally does. I file the claim and guess what!

Sixth, they turned down my claim for furniture etc THEY DAMAGED, claiming that I had filed the claim too late. ON THE CLAIM FORMS there was a clause that indicated I had upto a year to file claim. I filed it within that time despite the fact that JORDAN HAYES did not provide me the documents needed UNTIL I had reminded her. I included PICTURES, costs of substitute goods, even went to a PROFESSIONAL carpenter and asked him to prepare an estimate to repair the furniture. BUT THEY refused to honor their WRITTEN CONTRACT.

Seventh, I reported them to BBB but PARAMOUNT movers didnt care and still have not paid me for the furniture they DAMAGED.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CHEATS, LIARS, DISHONEST, UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Please dont do business with them.
