Store sales rep and manager LIED about insurance policy on a $3,000 engagement ring

I purchased a one carat solitare engagement ring from Kay Jewelers in November. I will be paying my credit card off in a few days. Unfortunately a few months ago the ring was stolen out of my house. After filing a police report and spending several hours and trips to the store I purchased the ring from talking to everyone from sales reps to managers to customer service to THEIR managers, I got absolutely nowhere. I feel like the entire company is laughing at my misfortune. No one wanted to help, and they tried everything they could not to replace the ring. When I purchased the ring I was ensured by the MANAGER of the store that no matter what happened to the ring my insurance policy would cover it, beit lost, stolen etc. What an upsetting day it was when the worst thing that could happen, happened, and the company I spent $3,000 with did not back their own employees. I know I am just one person, and now that my account will be paid off and closed I mean nothing to Kay Jewelers. However I am only 23 years old and have many many years of my life left to ensure that everyone I talk to about any type of jewelry, engagements or business is aware of the nightmarish experience I have had with Kay Jewelers. Thankfully in this country there are ways to make this type of situation very public and I have already started to do so. A happy customer may tell a few people about their experience however an unhappy customer will tell everyone they know and more. DO NOT buy anything from Kay Jewelers, especially in Phillipsburg NJ.
