Charged me even though i had canceled

I signed up for a trial membership on talenthunter.com. The trial membership was for approximately 7 days. I wanted to try it out and within a week, I was not happy with the services that it allegedly supplies. I canceled prior to the expiration date via e-mail. I found out a week later on my bank statement that they had charged me $19.99. I emailed the company and I received no response. I emailed them again, and received an automated response indicating to email at a different email address.
